Built to meet the ambitious challenge of the Living Building Challenge (LBC), The Centre of Excellence is by far Canada’s largest LBC project to date. The Challenge encompassed 7 performance areas in sustainable building, one of which was materials. Strict parameters on material composition and manufacturers distance to site tested our experienced team to find products not normally used. With the help of our supplier partners we were able to overcome those challenges.
